Any near los angeles(less than 3 hours). great place for 2 to 3 nights?

Plam spring and Josehua tree national park, Feb is nice season in desert area.

Big Bear for skiing, and the whole mountain area.
San Diego for the sun.
Palm Springs same.
Santa Barbara and the Central Coast.
And many people just like to vacation in LA and explore the city.

Pretty much just pick any beach community. If you want the nightlife, Laguna Beach in So Orange County is pretty good. The Hotel Coronado on Coronado Beach in San Diego is also very nice. If you want a romantic, peaceful place to just relax, try Pismo Beach to the north is my favorite…small beach town, quaint shops, clam digging, great restaurants and beautiful beaches.

San Diego is a great place for a weekend getaway. There are so many fun things to do. Some of my favorites include wine tasting, kayaking through the La Jolla caves, hiking to Cedar Falls, biking along the coast, having a private bonfire on the beach……the llst goes on and on depending on your interests.
