vacation in los angeles and san diego ?


our trip is for 3 weeks in los angeles and san diego from 8/8/2008 to 29/8/2008 , and i’d like any suggestion or recommendation for activities and things to do there .
( kuwaiti family 5 adults and 2 children )

and what is the best way to book disneyland and universal studio’s tickets ?

    San Diego-Sea World, Lego Land, Old Town, Downtown, beaches, Cabrillo National Monument and tidal pools, Coronado Island.
    Los Angeles-You already mentioned Disney and Universal. There is also Highland Avenue, Venice Beach, Olivero Street.
    There is quite a bit between the two. Take the scenic route up/down the coast and stop in Manhattan Beach, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, and/or San Capistrano.

    I’d like to mount a campaign to encourage people not to go anywhere. Travel has become so expensive and unpleasant that it’s hard to understand why people don’t stay home.
    Why are we crowding our highways and airports to get someplace else? Newspapers and magazines are filled with ads trying to get us to travel. They want us to go somewhere - anywhere but home.
