Los Angeles or Phoenix,AZ Vacation?

I am thinking about taking a couple of days vacation to go to either Los Angeles or Phoenix? Which is better and what are the activities/attractions in for each city?

Phoenix AZ is the better choice !!!

LA has more choices.. beaches, mountains, Hollywood, Disneyland and more are in easy driving distance.
Plus the weather is always wonderful.

I personally dont know why you would want to vacation in a city, but I would go to Los Angeles. If you drive , or rent a car, you can go see huntington beach, and the queen mary, the golden gate bridge. I think that california has more to offer. Of course Arizona has the Grand Canyon. It is not to far from Pheonix. Have fun.

It depends on what you want to do. the trick to having fun in Los Angeles is having a car and knowing where you want to go. In Phoenix the best thing to do is pick a resort like Gainy Ranch or the Points and stay there. L.A. is more cultural and diverse but you have to seek it out. Both cities offer good access to the outdoors (south Mt. Park in Phx, Santa Monica Mts and the beach in LA) but again LA is more diverse. In Arizona i would recommend Tucson over Phx unless you are attracted to upscale glitz like you can find in Scottsdale, on the other hand LA has so much more of that type of experience. On the whole I’d recommend LA, stay away from the team parks (universal, Disney) take a studio tour (Sony in Culver city is the best for seeing how the industry really works). stay in Santa Monica and rent a car so that you can drive to the Getty in bentwood, (for the views not the collection) and check out the listings LA weekly for events like concerts shows etc..
