Best vacation spots from Los Angeles?
When looking online for vacation travel spots, there are always good offers on vacation spots(Caribbean, Mexico, Italy, etc). But when you input that you are leaving from the west coast, the cost almost doubles. Im assuming this is due to fuel costs. So are there any vacation spots that do not require higher costs if departed from the west coast?

What kind of tourist spot you are looking for? Is hard to give any cause of the high price of gasoline in US for that matter of sake. I think you may need to resort on public transport like train and buses than driving on wheels and if not, try not to go to far or join a tour package or go to some websites that offer cheaper package for F&E traveler or just discount tkts for particular attractions to save you money. For places, maybe San Diego or the Napa Valley may work for you. Try to stay inside California for that matter, or else head to Nevada or go to Mexico if you want to.
