Anyone have suggestions for a relatively cheap summer vacation (leaving from Los Angeles)?
My boyfriend and I are celebrating our 1 year anniversary in June, and we want to go on a trip. Due to the weak dollar and expensive flights, Europe is no longer an option. We considered Costa Rica, but the flight taxes cost more than the actual flight ticket! We’re discouraged.
We would REALLY like to leave the States, but can’t really think of any nice, sorta cheap places. We have a new credit card JUST for this trip, so I guess you could say that our budget is about $2,000.
