if you don’t have health insurance in los angeles, who determines what hospital you go to if you are having

a mental breakdown and have to be under 72hour lockdown suicide watch? For example why was britney spears taken to Cedars Sinai, which is an upscale hospital? Did she get celebrity treatment or do you have the right to request a certain hospital? What hospital would she have gone to if she didn’t get a choice, or she wasn’t a celebrity? It’s obvious to me that she’s getting special treatment, but who made the call to send her to Cedars Sinai instead of Lynwood Hospital…I’m sure the average joe doesn’t get to request where they want to be taken for their suicide watch!

Yeah, her celebrity played a part in it, ofcourse. As far as who made that decision? I dont know. When I was injured and my mother called 911, they did ask me where I wanted to be brought to. I said I didnt care whatevers closest, and I was taken to the best hospital in the city.
